About us ...
A little History...

The first parcels of vines were acquired in 1894 by Jean-Baptiste LAJUGIE in the territory of Saint Philippe d'Aiguilhe and by François SANSON in 1919, in the territory of Monbadon.
It was in 1974 that Carolle and Jean-François DELPIT took over the exploitation of Saint Philippe d'Aiguilhe.
The vinification takes place in the cooperative cellar of Gardegan and Tourtirac.
The vineyard covers 11.80 hectares.
In 1984, the decision to leave the cooperative winery is taken.
The creation of a vat is then necessary to be able to vinify the harvest which arrives.
In the spring of 1985, a first series of vat was built in the old stable.
At that time, the buildings were not isolated and the 1985 vinifications were not easy! It was a beautiful entry on the subject!
In 1986, a new series of tanks is built. The vat capacity is 1,280 hectoliters.
As and when needed, stainless steel tanks and fibers find their place in the vat room.
The last series of tank is built in 1989.
Today the vinification and storage capacity is 2,660 hectoliters.

In 1991, Puisseguin exploitation (4.5 hectares) is repeated in rent.
The vineyard extends on 16,37 hectares.
Then in 1999, Carole and Jean-François create society Earl Vignobles DELPIT, with their daughter Elisabeth (that's me !)
I sit in March 2001 as a young farmer and becomes co-manager of the structure.
1.5 hectares reinforce the existing vineyard. This reached now 17,87 hectares.
The vineyard is in good condition. The winery has been renovated, expanded and isolated in 2003.
In 2016, I sold a little parcel for buy an another parcel of cabernet sauvignon.
The vineyard counts now 18,10 hectares.
