❤❤❤ Since 1974, it is Jean-François and Carole Delpit (5th generation), who run this 17 hectares farm in the towns of Puisseguin and Saint-Philippe d'Aiguille.
They raise very well this Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux Château La Chapelle Saint-Jean 2012, with delicate shades of wild strawberry, spices and humus, with very balanced and tasty tannins, very successful and very affordable (7 € ).
The Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion Château La Grave Les Rochers 2009, aged for 12 months in oak barrels, is a powerful wine, with ample, structured palate, with rich and velvety tannins, with the connotations of blackberry and pepper, of guard (10 €), like the 2006, combining framework and suppleness, where intermingle in the mouth notes of cooked red berries and licorice, a very harmonious, balanced wine, which tastes particularly well today .

Red wine - Tasting note : 15 /20 Vintage : 2012
The nose is quite powerful and offers a certain elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry, cocoa and truffle associated with fine notes of wild strawberry. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well structured and offers a nice frame on acidity / red fruits. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry, crunchy strawberry and blackberry combined with small notes of blueberry jam, fine notes of liquorice, woody and a touch of blackcurrant bud, red fruits and spices. The tannins are fine and a little dry. Good length.
